Bonjour bonjour,

Il y a quelques semaine, mon portable (Acer Sapire 6935G) équipé de Vista SP2 a planté.
Plantage totale d'explorer, impossible d'accéder au gestionnaire des tâches, donc rebootage manuel.
Après reboot, re-belote !
Au bout de 5 minutes d'utilisation, je n'ai plus que la souris, obligé de redémarrer.

Chdisk et deux autres utilitaires ont fait leur boulot au démarrage suivant, sans trouver d'erreur (du moins rien qui ne laisse penser qu'ils sont tombé sur quelque chose dans les rapports affichés en temps réel) mais après redémarrage, re re belote.

Curieux, je démarre en mode sans échec et vais faire un tour dans les journaux d'évènements.
Avant chaque plantage, le dernier service à s'être lancé est "WindowsUpdate".

Du coup, je le désactive, et Ô miracle, j'ai pu me servir à nouveau de mon PC, sans gros problème.

Mais bon, j'aimerais bien profiter des mises à jours !
Du coup ce matin, j'ai décidé de les réactiver.
Et bien boum ! Plantage !

Cet outil est proposé suite à la découverte d'une incohérence dans le magasin des services Windows, qui pourrait empêcher l'installation ultérieure de mises à jour, Service Packs et logiciels.

J'ai donc téléchargé la bête, et tenté de l'installer.
Problème, pour l"installer il faut....Lancer le service WindowsUpdate

Je vous laisse deviner : planté !

J'ai donc re - désactivé les mises à jours (et j'ai encore planté un coup, allez savoir pourquoi, je ré éditerais ce message si ça recommence, mises à jours désactivées.) et je viens chercher un peu d'aide.
J'ai posté sur un autre forum le jour de mon problème, sans aucun résultat.
On m'a demandé un rapport hijackthis, que j'ai fourni, sans que personne ne trouve quelque chose de louche dedans.

Dans un 1er temps, essaye ceci :

1/ menu Démarrer / Exécuter => taper "services.msc" (sans les guillemets) puis Entrer,
2/ Dans la liste chercher Windows Update (tout en bas) et l'arrêter
3/ Ouvrir l'explorateur Windows et aller vers C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore puis supprimer tout son contenu.
4/ aller vers : C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download et supprimer tout son contenu.
5/ Retourner dans les services (point 1/) et redémarrer Windows Update.

Qu'est-ce que ça dit ?

Il me semble que j'avais déjà tenté (du moins de supprimer le contenu de DataStore, pas de Dwn).
Mais j'ai refais la manip là tout de suite, et comme d'hab : plaaaaanté !

Clique sur le fichier FixWU.exe qui se trouve dans le dossier Fix WU

J'ai e-mailé puis appelé, puis re-emailé le service support de Microsoft, j'attends une réponse concrète (au téléphone on m'a assuré que Microsoft pourrait m'assurer une aide gratuite via son support mail) et si ça ne donne rien, je regarde ce que tu m'as envoyé.

Donc, j'ai eu Microsoft au bout du fil vendredi dernier, je suis tombé sur un mec très sympa qui a tenté tout types de manip's (visant à réinstaller Windows Update, les catalogues, ainsi que d'autres services...) pendant un peu plus de 2 heures.
2 heures au bout des quelles ont a eu la certitude que le problème n'était pas forcement lié aux mises à jour, puisque mon freeze à eu lieu lors d'autres manip's, service Windows Update desactivé.

Il m'a de même fait tester ma mémoire RAM.
Et désactiver mes périphériques un à un (carte wifi / carte son...) voir si par hasard le soucis n'était pas lié.

Suite à tout ça, il m'a annoncé qu'on avait tout vérifier, qu'il ne voyait que deux possibilités d'où venait mon problème :
_Un problème matériel de disque dur (mais apparemment il n'existe pas de logiciels Microsoft pour le tester),
_Un méchant virus pas beau.

Il m'a donc donné un numéro pour accéder au service Virus / Protection.

Mais je n'ai pas appelé et décidé de formater, que ça ne ferait que du bien

Et voilou un système tout neuf !

Bon par contre, sacrément long le formatage (depuis la configuration d'usine), je vous dis pas la tonne de mise à jour...

Et bien sur, tous les comptes rendus des manip's que le gentil bonhomme de chez M m'a fait faire m'ont été envoyés par mail.

Bref, très pro, un bon point pour Crosoft.
